Similan IslandsThere are no products in this category

The Similan Islands  are listed by National Geographic as "one of the top ten destinations to visit in the world." These uninhabited islands are located on the west coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. Many of the dive sites offer easy diving conditions in crystal water and a good chance to see favorites such as turtles, clown fish, moray eels, stingrays, puffer fish, lionfish, batfish and large pelagics like barracuda and jacks. Diving in Koh Bon offers a good opportunity to see giant manta rays at certain times of the season. The diversity of the types of dive sites is a strong point of the Similan Islands. Soft coral reefs are formed on the east side of the islands while the rocky reefs dominate the west. There are also a series of submerged pinnacles that form underwater landscapes and create dramatic adventure dives with cave explorations. The whale shark occasionally passes Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock, two of the highlights of diving in the Similan.
