Fuerteventura is a unique arid land of desert landscapes but an an island rich in tourist resources and must see spots. The flattest and easternmost of the Canary Islands was settled by Juan de Bethencourt and Gadifer de la Salle in the early fifteenth century and throughout its six municipalities are several protected areas such as the miles of dunes of Corralejo with incredible landscapes of golden sands, the mountain of Esmeralda, Lobos Island and the stunning beaches of Cofete. The weather, although sometimes disturbed by northeast winds, is often very pleasant throughout the year with an average temperature of 69.8 ºF .

As for diving, under the water there is great diversity of flora and fauna such as striped damselfish, groupers, trumpet fish and cherubs and unique volcanic landscapes, with a water temperature between 59 and 80,6 ºF.  Sometimes we will enjoy stunning sightings of large whales migrating through the area. The large faunal treasure of Fuerteventura is the number of bird species that can be found, including gulls, shearwaters, buzzards and kestrels.
