Bohol is one of the most diverse and attractive destinations in the Philippines. With an area of 411,700 hectares, it is essentially an agricultural province, with rice, corn and coconut as the main products. It is occupied by numerous white sand beaches and a mountainous interior. Unique rice terraces, numerous historic churches, watchtowers, enchanting waterfalls and caves, the impressive Chocolate Hills and the Tarsier Sanctuary, can be found and where we see the endangered Tarsier primate in its natural habitat. This area also has a famous marine biodiversity making it an excellent place for scuba diving. The diving is varied, with steep cliffs, caves and coral gardens. Suitable for beginners and advanced levels, and with visibility at times close to 98 ft, the dives are shared with parrot fish, napoleon fish, pygmy seahorses, colorful nudibranchs, pipefish and inquisitive green turtles. In deeper levels there are also pelagics like tuna and barracuda.
